And the Winners Are...

We promised a complete analysis of the fashion from First Friday's: Chocolate & Champagne - and here it is! We had several people who preserved their sexy and weren't afraid to run it...and here are the top contenders:

The tailored shirt/mini dress is a hard look to pull
off, but kudo's to this fab chick who rocked it with this season's must have:
the wide belt. Xtra snaps for turning up the cuffs!

These ladies are very well accessorized; as well as a great
complement to each other, except for the "Supreme" on the end, she went a little overboard with the satin gown...

We didn't want to be evil and split this pic in half -
but, er, uh, we are all in agreeance that there is only ONE fab outfit here. And
it doesn't involve ill-fitting, unflattering sailor pants with big
buttons.

This may be questioned by some, but this is, indeed a fab
dress. She should have let her hair down, and added a little more
accessories...but nonetheless, love the dress. Horizontal stripes can NOT be worn by just anyone, but she rocked it.

Just fab.

We are gonna excuse the 'state' of these girls here, since
this is a fashion poll...but we are loving the red, black & white
combo here. And we are definitely excited about layering multiple chains as our
drunken friend has done here. Loves it!

And now for the missess...dammit. We didn't want to do this, but some people just don't get it. Hopefully these 'lessons' will end the future horror:

The thing that just really bothers me personally (besides the very
unflattering
shade of red lipstick here), is that I don't understand what
prompted these 'let's go camping' outfits?? I can't tell whether they are going to the mall or the Black Arts Festival. 2 tickets. And a warning to obey the DRESS CODE next time.

...these shorts need to go back to the windows for which she pulled
them off of. SATIN SHORTS = 30 days in the hole. Use that time to
come up with a more 'breathable' outfit that doesn't tug at your thighs like
over-cooked sausages.

ONE MORE WARNING: as stated in a previous post, we will be WATCHING YOU tomorrow night...just because the dress cod requires 'all black' does not mean it is going to be a safe outfit night. Take a long, hard look at yourself in the mirror before you go out; and then AFTER THAT, ask for a friends advice.

For the Deelish Fans...

Again, congrats to my girl Dee, the winner of Flav's heart. Now I have already admitted to being on Team Deelishis from the jump, but I have to question her now. I could have sworn that our resident 'keep it real' mommie said AND I QUOTE " I am not doing this for TV or any publicity of any kind. I saw Flav on last season's show and I knew there was just something about him..." ok, blah, blah, blah. The point IS, what is all this foolishness:

Looks like our Dee has her very own website where you can join, become a member, or even book her for photos or public speaking! Is it wrong that I would question what topic one would actually hire her to speak publicly about?? See for yourself:

Flav Wrap Up

And the FOL winner is.... So now that the public knows London Charles b.k.a. Deelishis is Flav's new lil boo, she's out and about in the clubs. She was spotted at a club this weekend with some friends. I'm not gonna lie, I was on Team Deelishis (despite the whole 'keloid' situation); homegirl kept it REAL. And I heard she's been held captive at Flav's mansion to keep her away from media outlets until the finale aired. Some of her FOL Season 2 castmates came out to party too. Nibblez still looks like a Hot Ass Mess reincarnated. And I see she still doesn't know where to buy a damn bra. Buckwild works my nerves.

Now for everyone's burning question...who is Deelishis' baby daddy?? She sparked interest about this when she said on last night's episode that her baby's father has "money on top of money on top of money". Very interesting. I do know that she previously dated a quasi big-name radio personality (not Russ Parr). But not many radio personalities are just balllllllliiiin like that. She also discussed with Russ Par a while back who her baby's father was, but she was very hush hush about the name. So, apparently she DID mention his name, it was just bleeped out. Turns out he is not a celeb or pro athlete - he is superintendent of Detroit city schools. Not bad, Deelish!

****************NY UPDATE!!!!!!**************

While "Flavor of Love" contestant New York may have lost her man in on the October 15 finale of the popular VH1 reality series, she has gained something else - the starring role in her own VH1 spin-off series, "Flavorette." As SOHH previously reported, VH1 is already well into production on the spin-off, which will feature New York (real nameTiffany Patterson) as the top prize in an elimination-based dating competition between 20 single guys, all looking to win the heart of the woman twice burned by rapper Flavor Flav.
"These guys are so dramatic," Patterson was quoted in The New York Post. "They're worse than the women who were on season one and season two [of "Flavor of Love"]. This show is so chaotic, it's overboard, it's over-the-top, it's extreme and these guys know they're fighting for a wonderful woman so they've been at each other's throats and I'm flattered by it. I can't complain." While VH1 has not yet determined when to premiere "Flavorette," it's expected that the show will air sometime in 2007. It's also safe to say that Patterson is finding the competition much more appealing the third time around. "I like it when the guys go at each other," she said. "I'm a prize, I'm so worth it - frankly, it turns me on." With only three contestants remaining, production is nearing an end and it is looking like New York may finally have a happy ending in store. "There's one man in particular that I can definitely see myself living out the rest of my life with," Patterson told the Post.
VH1's decision to cast Patterson in a spinoff seems a logical choice, given her popularity with fans of the show and the constant controversy between herself and the other contestants on both seasons of "Flavor of Love."
"I would tell all those other women who gave me a hard time [on the show] that I want them to eat their hearts out," Patterson said. "They should just know that you cannot ever hold a good woman down, I'm doing my thing and I'm a real star, I was born a star, baby, and everyone needs to know that!" Patterson's New York persona seemed to brush many of the ladies the wrong way, but things got particularly ugly in one elimination ceremony when she was spit on by another contestant - who has since claimed to be set up by producers who added special effects to increase the drama. "It was real, and it was a bad moment," says New York. "To me, that person is a farm animal, she was bred, she was born in a stable of some sort."

AAMU Homecoming Weekend 2006

This is one of those few weekends of the year that we all look forward to having something to do almost every night. Homecoming 2006 is one of those RARE occassions where the small city life of Huntsville is actually jumpin around the clock...in order to keep eveyone in the loop about this weekends festivities, here are a few parties to consider crashing:

Although it may seem that we here at the JuiceSpot Headquarters can be a tad bitharsh sometimes, we are very sweet and just want the best for our community. After all, each one of us represents Huntsville as a whole. Now, with that disclaimer out of the way, on to our business of the day: It has been brought to our attention that this weekend will not not be comfortable weather wise in any way. Those of you actually going to the game (does anybody still go anymore?), and those of you that will be invading all malls and outlets beware:

  • FRIDAY will have a high of 58, and a low of 41
  • SATURDAY will have a high of 67, and a low of 38

Why did I post this you ask? Well, here is what I don't want to see on these cold ass nights:

Happy Homecoming!!
